I was only on St. Maarten for 24 hours but managed to snap some great photos of the island as we zipped around by car and by boat...
I loved the international feel of the island. Even the Princess Juliana Airport offered a nice mix of food & souvenirs showcasing the island's mixed heritage. My favorite was Jeff de Bruges - a chocolate shop as sweet to visit as it was to taste. The chocolates are flown in daily from Belguim and worth every cent. (If you too want to fly in to St. Maarten from Europe, there are many options for flights daily!)
