Beaches Resort Vacation Discounts!

Beaches Resorts have two super fantastic promos right now!

{Beaches Turks & Caicos by Day}

The first one will give you $315 IN FREE AIR CREDIT when staying 6 nights or more at Beaches Negril located on Jamaica's famous 7 Mile Beach.

The second one is an early booking bonus for travel this fall and will give you $325 CREDIT TOWARD YOUR HOTEL STAY. This offer is valid at any Beaches Resort.

Beaches Resorts have long been known as the best family friendly all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean. They do an excellent job of catering to kids as well as adults. Beaches Turks & Caicos is my personal favorite - especially the Italian Section... all-inclusive family friendly vacations don't get any better than a week in a Turin Water's Edge Walkout Two Bedroom Family Suite.

Family Suites at Beaches Turks & Caicos

Beaches Turks & Caicos is one of the only Caribbean Resorts offering family suites with a separate bedroom for children. Most hotels accommodate families wishing for separate sleeping quarters by offering the option of connecting rooms. The problem with this is that most hotels won't confirm connecting rooms and offer this option only on a "request" basis - which means the rooms are subject to availability at time of check-in. This is wonderful if it works out, but for a family vacationing with 2 adults and multiple young ones, arriving at a hotel to learn that you were not granted connecting rooms and your rooms are on opposite sides of the hotel can immediately ruin your vacation.

Enter the new Italian Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos. All of the suites either have a smaller separate kids room or are all full 2 bedroom suites. The separate kids rooms, shown in the photo above, sleep 3 and are decked out with their own TVs and Xbox stations, surely enough entertainment to keep the little ones in their own room. They are some of the priciest rooms at the resort, but the benefit of private sleeping quarters is priceless for many!

Check out my review from my visit to Beaches Turks last November.

Dive into the Turks & Caicos

Enjoy this colorful article all about diving in the Turks & Caicos...

Not far ahead of the dive boat I can see the occasional head pop up, breaking the surface for a sniff of warm, tropical air. Sea turtles. The sighting is enough to send the snorkelers on board scrambling to prepare their gear. People spit into their masks, quickly rubbing it onto the glass to prevent fogging once in the water. Our boat captain unpacks the waterproof spotting charts and deals them around. The dog-earred pages are filled with coloured pictures of sponges, corals, tropical fish, intimidating looking sharks and, of course, sea turtles.

“These waters are part of the marine sanctuary,” explains Brent Forbes, a guide with eco-outfitter Big Blue Unlimited. “This zone is protected against anchoring and fishing, conching and lobstering. When you get in you’ll see the turtles, but watch for spotted eagle rays, stingrays, parrotfish and nurse sharks.”

Turks and Caicos, a chain of 41 small islands, straddles the seam between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Incredible water in shades of blue that defy description — turquoise, navy, marine, aqua, teal — and the marine life below the surface draws visitors to these island pedestals of coral limestone.

According to Forbes, the gin-clear water and bountiful coral reefs have long been magnets for experienced divers. “It varies by season — in the busy season we see more divers than snorkelers, but people still come to snorkel all year round.”

Healing Hotels of the World

Finally... a hotel consortia I can relate to 100%. My very first job was as spa cordinator at the Arizona Biltmore Resort. Being there was zen and I learned so much about the importance of taking care of myself inside and out. If ever there was a reason to travel, for me it would be to heal. To release the stresses of my busy day-to-day life and to dig deep down to my core and find my center. Namaste.

The Healing Hotels of the World is an exclusive partnership of hotels, resorts, and retreats offering holistic health in luxury surrounding.

Four of my favorite hotels are in the group:

{The first time I visited Tabacon, I arrived on the back of a Harley Davidson, my head spinning with uncontrollable fear. It was my first time on a motorcycle and what an introduction! If you've driven from San Jose to Tabacon/Arenal, you know what I am talking about. More curves than not, more potholes per mile than anywhere I'd ever been, add a random cow or two, and a few over crowded buses barreling down the mountain in the opposite direction, and you see can imagine the state I was in. However, all of that fear, and the stress than came with me packed in my luggage from the US, dissolved within a few hours of soaking in their incredible hot springs and gazing up at Arenal glowing in the low light. Bliss.}

New All-Inclusive Resort in the Turk & Caicos!

This is BIG news! Every week I receive one or two calls from potential clients looking for an all-inclusive resort in the Turks & Caicos. They've heard about the island's amazing beaches, most notably Grace Bay Beach, and they are accustomed to vacationing with all meals & drinks included in the upfront cost and if Beaches Resort & Club Med Turkoise are not a perfect match, we quickly move on to other islands. Not anymore!

Perfectly situated on the famed Grace Bay Beach.

The Veranda consists of studios, suites & cottages.
Each unit is well appointed with upmarket designer pieces in a calming neutral theme.

If you can pull yourself out of the ocean, there are 3 pools, a full service spa, and fitness facility.

All accommodations have air conditioning, ceiling fans, LCD flat screen TVs, Sony Dream Machine, Play Station 3, complimentary Wi-Fi, Egyptian linens and feather beds, direct-dial telephones and in-room safes. Many units feature spacious outdoor verandas.
